PRESENTATION OF THE SKALA M D.O.O. COMPANY
The Association of Mining and Geology Engineers of Serbia, in cooperation with the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Mining and Geology, organized the presentation of the Serbian company SKALA M d.o.o. from Belgrade, which has been successfully operating for 20 years. Skala M d.o.o. became an interest member of the Association of Mining and Geology Engineers of Serbia seven years ago. Skala M d.o.o. held a presentation on April 19, 2024, at the Faculty of Mining and Geology in which, in addition to its products, it also presented the activities and products of the renowned Polish company LINTERGROUP, since Skala M are their exclusive representatives for the Republic of Serbia.
The presentation of Skala M d.o.o. was attended by representatives of: Faculty of Mining and Geology, Ministry of Mining and Energy, Joint Stock Company Elektroprivreda Srbije, Kolubara Mining Basin, Kostolac TPP-OPMs, Kovin Mine, PD Georad, DPM Avala d.o.o., the Mining Institute from Belgrade, Srbijagas, Geological Survey of Serbia, JP PEU Resavica, Geoput, Aleko mining solutions, Jantar Grupa, Bosilmetal and Teko Mining - Lafarge.

At the beginning, Prof. Subaranovic (President of the Association of Mining and Geology Engineers of Serbia) welcomed all the attendees. He thanked them for coming in such large numbers because it shows that the Association of Mining and Geology Engineers of Serbia is operating successfully.

After Prof. Subaranovic, the head of the Mining Department at the Faculty of Mining and Geology, Prof. Vladimir Cebasek welcomed everyone, greeted them on behalf of the Faculty of Mining and Geology, and wished a successful presentation to the representatives of the company Skala M d.o.o.

The Polish company LinterGroup includes six large branches - companies that employ a total of 1,500 workers. The company operates its own design bureau, employing 30 expert designers. For more than 35 years, they have been present in over 20 countries of the European Union, North Africa, and the Middle East.

LinterGroup is active and very present in the mining and energy sectors, the chemical industry, and the metallurgical industry. As for mining, they are present in underground mines (hard and brown coal) and surface mines (non-metallic mineral raw materials).
In underground mines, the LinterGroup company designs, manufactures, and installs pumping units for pumping out groundwater, fans, air purifiers, wagons for the transport of coal and personnel, complete belt conveyor systems, presses for vulcanizing belts, oxygen apparatus for miners, lamps for helmets, chargers for lamps with one or more stations, etc.
In surface mines, the LinterGroup company manufactures and installs crushing plants and plants for classifying different fractions, complete rubber belt conveyors, belt vulcanizing presses, dust purifiers, as well as waste water treatment plants.
