PRESENTATION OF COMPANIES

MIMA KOMERC d.o.o.

On Friday, March 22, 2019, the Association of Mining and Geological Engineers of Serbia, in cooperation with the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Mining and Geology, organized a presentation of new plastic pipes for pressurized water flow, made by molecular orientation of PVC material. The presentation was held in the premises of the Faculty of Mining and Geology, at the Department of Surface Exploitation of Mineral Resources.

The presentation was attended by colleagues from the economy, professors and students of the 4th year of basic studies in Mining Engineering.

At the very beginning, those present were greeted by prof. Dr. Zoran Gligorić, Dean of the Faculty of Mining and Geology, Prof. Dr. Lazar Kričak, Head of the Department for Surface Exploitation of LMS and Assoc. Dr. Tomislav Šubaranović, President of SIRGS.

After the welcoming words of Miloš Markanović, director of Mima komerc d.o.o., Zlatan Stevanović, a representative of the same company, introduced the attendees to PVC-O molecularly oriented pipes, class 500, manufactured by Molekor from Spain, who became the world leader with this new technology.

After the presentation, the demonstration of connecting PVC-O pipes, a machine of domestic production, started.

In addition to these pipes, Mima komerc d.o.o. has in its sales program a wide range of fittings, fittings and couplings that can be applied to surface mines, both in drainage and water supply.

This year as well (2020), the Association of Mining and Geology Engineers of Serbia (SIRGS) continues its successful cooperation with the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Mining and Geology, which is also an interesting member of SIRGS. They are on Friday, February 28, 2020. year in the premises of the Department of Surface Exploitation LMS, Faculty of Mining and Geology, organized a presentation of the company VEDIR IMPEX d.o.o. from Belgrade.

Future colleagues, students and doctoral students of the Faculty of Mining and Geology were also present.

At the beginning of the presentation of the company VEDIR IMPEX, prof. Dr. Lazar Kricak (Head of the Department of Surface Exploitation LMS) greeted all present on behalf of the Faculty of Mining and Geology and SIRGS.

After that, one of the owners of the company, Jovan Andjelic, gave a presentation on certain products represented by the company VEDIR IMPEX.

VEDIR IMPEX is the first domestic private company in Serbia in the field of transport and treatment of all types of water. It was founded in 1990 in Belgrade. The Japanese corporation EBARA (founded in 1912) is mainly based on the production of centrifugal pumps. In addition to centrifugal pumps, it also offers: well pumps, pressure boosting systems, fire splinker systems, mixers, aerators, etc.

In addition to these pumps, the company VEDIR IMPEX also offers products from the following global manufacturers: Grindex, Dragflow, BBA Pumps, Varisco-Atlas Copco, WEIR, Valveseal, Jakob Eschbach, Flowrox. In addition to pumps, we also offer valves, hoses, wastewater treatment systems, accompanying automation, etc.

The company VEDIR IMPEX also has an authorized service for all types of products they have in their offer. Their service technicians were trained in the manufacturers' factories and thus qualified for professional servicing of their products. When servicing, only original parts are used, and the service itself is performed as soon as possible.

After the presentation, the attendees asked questions to Mr. Andjelic, to which he always had adequate answers. The questions continued in the other room, where a cocktail was prepared.

It should be especially noted that most of those present belong to the regular membership of the Association of Mining and Geological Engineers of Serbia, and that the presentation was attended by colleagues from Northern Macedonia who are regular members of the Association of Mining and Geological Engineers of Northern Macedonia.
