Guest lecture by professor Drebenstedt

October 15^th 2021.

The University of Belgrade, Faculty of Mining and Geology, in cooperation with the Union of Mining and Geology Engineers of Serbia, organized guest lectures on October 12, 2021 held by professor Carsten Drebenstedt from TU Bergakademie Freiberg, Germany.

Before the lecture, the head of the mining department, Prof. Vladimir Cebasek welcomed Prof. Drebenstedt and greeted everyone present on behalf of the Faculty of Mining and Geology’s management.

Also, Prof. Dragan Ignjatovic (President of the Supervisory Board for the Union of Mining and Geology Engineers of Serbia) welcomed Professor Drebenstedt on behalf of the Union of Mining and Geology Engineers of Serbia.

Prof. Carsten Drebenstedt first thanked the management of the Faculty of Mining and Geology and the Union of Mining and Geology Engineers of Serbia for the invitation, as well as those present for attending the lectures.

Prof. Drebenstedt focused his lectures on mineral raw material mining and the maintenance of energy stability in Germany, as well as on the problems of the mining profession in the production of electric power.

The lecture was attended mainly by members of the Union of Mining Engineers and Geology of Serbia (professors, assistants and doctoral students).
