XI International Geomechanics Conference

January 21^st 2025.

The delegation of the Association of Mining and Geology Engineers of Serbia, consisting of Assoc. Prof. Tomislav Subaranovic, Prof. Vladimir Pavlovic, Prof. Ivica Ristovic, Asst. Prof. Ivica Jakovljevic and Nadezda Stefanovic, visited Golden Sands (Bulgaria) from 16th to 20th September, where they attended the XI International Geomechanics Conference.

The President of the Organizing Committee, Asst. Prof. Kremena Dedelyanova (President of the Association of Mining, Geological and Metallurgical Engineers of Bulgaria), welcomed all those present and opened the conference.

On behalf of the Association of Mining and Geology Engineers of Serbia, Asst. Prof. Ivica Jakovljevic welcomed all attendees and wished them a successful conference.

In addition to the successful work at the conference, a meeting was held between the delegation of the Association of Mining and Geology Engineers of Serbia and the leadership of the Association of Mining, Geological, and Metallurgical Engineers of Bulgaria. During the discussion, it was decided that it would be useful to improve the current degree of cooperation between these two associations.
